I think Klopp has known him for a long time back from Dortmund days. If he was ever going to come he would have done so long ago. He's a guarantee of 5-10 goals every season from midfield, something we sorely lack. I think he will end his career with City.
Been linked with Barcelona. I guess it depends on whether he wants another challenge at another club/league.

I dislike City for obvious reasons, but happen to like a lot of their players – Gundogan is definitely among them. Obviously worked with Klopp and they clearly still admire each other. Always caused us problems when we play them, but only in football way – not a snidey cunt way like Bernardo. I think he's underrated.

Gundogan must be one of the most likeable footballers ever. Just looking at him makes me happy. Plays everywhere, selfless and never a bad word about the opponent after.
Well I just hope him going does not scupper our deal (if true) to get Alexis.
@Hyena - agree on Gundogan, just gets on with it, never gets involved in any fights or any of that shit. Very fair player.
