Was that the year Marcus fucking Bent scored that freak goal off the beach ball? I don’t think I’ve ever been more depressed following the Reds.

Genuinely the worst Liverpool team and manager I've seen in my lifetime.
There's a few hundred million in that team
Poulsen.

By miles. Nothing and nobody comes close.
This is glorious isn't it. The stuff we've waited years and years to see.
Its hard to tell what a decent attack minded manager might do with this team. They did finish 2nd last year, after all.
I do worry that they're still one good manager appointment from being title challengers again. Luckily they've fucked the last three manager decisions up. By law of averages they have to get it right sooner or later.

Are you suggesting that they actually challenged Man City last season?
The thought of them sacking him makes me really nervy...
Is there anything we can do to help him?
Well quite succinctly put JJ. It's sort of like watching something in slow motion. Everyone could see what was going to happen and yet it almost seems as if they are completely powerless to prevent it (even though they know what will happen) Kind of like a car crash. What's weird in this case is the car is still spinning wildly out of control while the world watches in gobsmacked fascination...Pogba has loads of ability and I've no doubt he can and will be a big name player - at another club. Mourinho and he are obv.a toxic mix but I'm not convinced he'd have done that much better at ManUre under a manager with whom he got on better. Pogba's first spell there ended badly and, though there will always be exceptions now and then, going back to a previous club tends not to be a good idea in football, especially when the first go wasn't a success. From the start I wondered if going back to Old Tw@tford would work out for Pogba, and as it turns out it's surpassed my wildest dreams. 😀
The idea of a testimonial match made sense when the players were earning the £20 per week maximum wage, and retired without two halfpennies to rub together, but is now ridiculous.
fans love them.
