They've upped the stakes.

Drums and stress balls incoming.

"I think the whistles are brilliant.

I know some people wanted to bring in tennis balls, how about sponge balls/stress balls instead? They are: easier to sneak in,cheaper and harmless while they will have the same effect as the tennis balls.(at least for people in the first level). We could also use it to throw at the field to disrupt momentum, or when they get a corner etc.

Another idea I had was bring the drum. Hear me out, I know a lot of people hate them but we can use it differently. Instead of drumming to songs and chants we could instead use it to drive up the atmosphere. It's loud and intimidating, so use it when we win a corner or when we score, win the ball back just to make some extra noise. This way it isn't annoying because it's only being used once in a while and it doesn't require skill. This can especially be useful when the stadium quiets down, and there are only a few people still wanting to make noise. This will help them be heard and encourages other people to join in.
Again not used along with chants and songs just the occasional use."
Laughing at this one, it's too much... Vuvuzelas incoming to suppliment the drums of defiance lol

It's fun to laugh at them, but they are right that UEFA is corrupt as fuck. I don't think LFC fans should cone across as supporting the UEFA establishment.

I also never got the disdain they got from other fans for booing the UEFA music - they were screwed over by UEFA on a couple of occasions. I support their booing, just as I support us booing the royal song

The Bluefume poetry has begun:

The fuckin scene is fuckin sad
The fuckin news is fuckin bad
The fuckin weed is fuckin turf
The fuckin speed is fuckin surf
The fuckin folks are fuckin daft
Don't make me fuckin laugh
It fuckin hurts to look around
Everywhere in Uefa town
The fuckin train is fuckin late
You fuckin wait you fuckin wait
You're fuckin lost and fuckin found
Stuck in fucking uefa town

If anyone was wondering what John Cooper Clarke would be like if he'd had severe head trauma and was a total cunt, then this is for you

Screwed over?

They were rightly fined, a reduction of the original sanction, for running huge losses against FFP policy. They signed up to the rules they should observe them.

Secondly, some fans got into what was supposed to be a behind closed doors game due to racism leaving a small number of fans out of pocket as they had booked travel to Russia. I fully support UEFA in any attempt to make a stand over racist dickheads. The fans in the stadium, something I assume UEFA has fuck all control over.

The rest, er, none!

They’re not being persecuted, they have a persecution complex, there’s a difference.

The fans just have absolutely no idea what it is to be a big club.

Pathetic imbeciles.

This seems fair and accurate, but doesn't explain why so many Abu Dhabi FC fans are severely mentally ill.

Funny to observe though. Like visiting a mental asylum

They broke ffp rules that they signed up to . you might not agree with ffp that's all and good but the fact is we adhered to the rules but they tried to get around it and got CAUGHT

TWICE

if city don't agree with ffp then they should have went to court over it instead of pretending to agree and signing up to ffp.

Quite, and by rights that should count against them when they appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. I'm no bigger a fan of UEFA (or or footy administrators in general) than Tom is, and I happen to agree with some of the criticism that's been made of FFP and the reasons behind it but, as long as the rules are as they are, they have to apply to everybody.

I've stopped checking out the fume. Ever since they realised the world was watching and laughing they've been playing it up intentionally.

Ya I get the feeling that some of the outlandish stuff like the tattoos is just to see will other fans pick up on then an run with it. Its more the Looney rantings by that retard Karen and a few others that were ranting a few months back before the league was basically done and dusted are the truly unhinged fan base

"We need 8 volunteers to each get a giant tattoo on their chests and back spelling out one letter each that reads “fuck uefa” then we need them to strip to the waist and invade the pitch mid game, congregate in the centre circle and arrange themselves correctly. The stewards can be tipped off as to avoid anyone stopping them."

Even if you ignore how utterly fucking stupid this protest would be, have they not heard of paint? Fucking tattoos? They are insane.

It seems obvious that one of the pillars of city's defence will be that yeah we are corrupt but ufea are more corrupt than us so this ban isn't fair.

Also I don't know why their top lawyers and PR people are sanctioning those comments about ufea being the judge and jury and the process being kangaroo court. That doesn't seem helpful but hey they are paying those people the big bucks.

Ufea might be corrupt on many areas but to me it's ironic the FFP is the one area where they seem somwhat tidy and legit, I think city are attacking ufea from the wrong angle here.

Sterling is pictured with Real Madrid shirt draped over both shoulders and there isn't one thread about this on Bluefume. Either they are pretending this isn't happening or the mods are working hard pressing that delete button.

I actually agree with the criticism about UEFA being judge and jury in their own disciplinary proceedings, which ought to be independently run (BTW the English FA's equivalent is equally objectionable for the same reason). The problem for Citeh is that they signed up to this, so it's a bit rich to turn round and complain now that they've been caught red (or blue)-handed..

I thought Mourinho might be getting a panning on the spurs forums as their football is insipid, but it seems all their anger is aimed at Levy, and they they only need to buy a LB, CB, RB, DM, CM, and another striker and they'll be ok.

Before this game he'd got more points than anyone else apart from Klopp since he joined

I'm not defending City for their FFP record; if they broke the rules, they deserve punishment. I could give a sermon on how breaking an unjust law is the right thing to do, but I am not sure equating CIty with the Tolpuddle Martyrs, the Sufragettes or the NUM stands much credence.

But I do sympathise with their original antipathy to UEFA, which was based on :
  • Porto getting fined €20K for their fans racially abusing Mario Ballotelli, while City got a €30K fine for being 30 seconds late for the second half in a match the next month
  • City fans being locked out of a match with CSKA, as a punishment to CSKA for their own fans racist behaviour. Meanwhile while City fans who had travelled to the match were physically stopped from entering, a few hundred CSKA fans did get in
If those things had happened to us, we would, rightly, be up in arms about it, and while I wouldn't suggest LFC fans would necessarily boo the UEFA song, some vocal protest would undoubtedly have occurred.

I just don't want our laughing at City, as enjoyable as it is, to morph into support for a corrupt UEFA establishment or to become a criticism of their justified antipathy to UEFA for the above.

Meanwhile :

Manchester City will "leave nothing off the table" when they attempt to overturn their two-year European suspension, which could end with Liverpool in the dock over allegations they hacked into the Etihad Stadium club's scouting database. (Sunday Mirror)

Twats!

This post made me chuckle. In typical man city exaggerated paranoid beliefs where them not changing passwords after some of their staff joined us and used it to log into an online database has turned in to us hacking into their computers.

But didn't the PL raise serious concerns about our wrecked coach even though it wasn't part of their competition, and you have to applaud them for the thorough investigation and appropriate punishment dished out to the Dippers for hacking our servers!

Not sure that will do a whole lot of good in clearing their name in terms of a being accused of financial misdoings

Raheem Sterling moaning in AS about how we're treated with respect and City like that ... "Why can Yaya Toure score 20 and not win the PFA player of the year?" (well maybe b/c Suarez was insane that year?) and "Why do we win the 'quadruple' and it's VvD?" (Well why did VvD finish 2nd in Ballon D'Or, or is that biased too?) ...
Man he's a cunt

Fucking funny as fuck that there isnt a mention of the 4 var decisions that went in city's favour last night. If theirs was a pen the Leicester should have had one fir the same thing and also city keeper flattens the Leicester player with a box to tbe face and all Leicester get is a corner which it actually wasn't. Should have been a straight red and pen
Jesus's goal was correct var decision though

And runs like a girl.

VAR should’ve needed 5secs max to check that. Obviously not offside.

Said before but every week I’m amazed all over again at how badly it’s been implemented.

There are thousands of qualified refs in England. They should just have 50 of them in the VAR studio for every match and give them a 7 second limit to make a call each.
Then have software randomly pick half of the votes and base the decision on that.

Should just crowd source it to internet vote. Would be equally quick and just as consistent and fair.

And Liverpool fans would absolutely spam every decision...

I don't think the solution is that complicated, if the decision can't be met within one look at the replay then its not "clear & obvious" so stands.

Same for offsides, no drawing lines required, just look at the side view camera & make an instant decision.

If wenger did that utterly ridiculous amendment to the offside rule it would massively change the game, not to mention make it almost impossible to enforce that same rule properly at lower levels of the game without var.
