Other forum meltdown watch

Do you really believe that the fans are going to police themselves? If you organise a big barney, some people are going to throw bottles, bricks and anything else they can get their hands on. I have never seen other fans acting like policemen and trying to stop them.

I got hit on the head by a big, heavy bottle in Cardiff in 2003 before the League Cup Final. It was actually aimed at a passing Manc but hit me instead. It bled like mad and I had to go in the stadium early to get first aid.
Our own fans police the other cunts in our fan group.

And also...this wasn't a big barney. This was a show of solidarity and support before the match, designed to intimidate their players.

Some people were cunts.

Take this kind of thing away it's a further element of sterilisation that the game doesn't need

What was the bottle?

With all due respect, this is other forum meltdown watch... Not let's all have a meltdown thread.

So fuck off, the lot of you.

Yeah, we've got the entire rest of the Forum for general meltdowns, let's keep this one as advertised.

you can stick your fucking apology up your bin dipping arse, I couldn't give a flying fuck for you or your dole queue dwelling mates, take your candle dimmed visor off, stop your klopp quoting and waving your innocent arms in the air and prepare to be met with retribution, I have always hated scousers mainly because I chose to, I can't fucking stand anyone of you and Wednesday night just summed up why, your vermin of the lowest level, always have been and always will although this time I'm prepared to take my own action, I promise you this, if there is a single scouser near me in my stand at my beloved club then I will be the one that sniffs you out and will quite happily be responsible for my behaviour, you wont like it I promise and if I lose my season ticket so be it, I'm fucking ready.

Sam Allardyce: “If my 2 league games against Liverpool this season had been a Champions League tie, we’d have gone through. That’s something my critics won’t tell you.”

.... He didn't say that

That was a David Moyes quote wasn't it? In 2005, when the question of a playoff was talked about..

Drew 0-0 at West Brom and drew 1-1 vs West Brom at Goodison. So they'd have gone out to West Brom over two legs, by that really fucked-up logic.

I find it particularly disturbing that there was nothing spontaneous about the incident. It was planned well in advance and advertised on social media. The people behind it genuinely thought they were doing it to help the club and win the match for us. Many people in this forum thought it was a good idea.

It was up until people starting throwing shit at the bus

I don't think there's anything wrong with the idea of people lining up to show their support and the whole carnival atmosphere that surrounds big Liverpool games in Europe. But the spectacle became more about showing hostility towards the City team bus and when you couple that with a significantly out of hand society in general, with recent crime rates, well then it's asking for trouble.

Far too much has been made out of it but I, for one, am pissed off that we have yet again dragged our name into the mud because of the action of a few dickheads...

I've seen the "It's a working class game" defence of it, and indeed it is, or at least it used to be, but i'm working class too and I never felt the need to be a cunt and try and vandalise shit.

Those dickheads throwing bottles have given newspapers like the Daily Mail properly live ammunition and it was fucking dumb and we as fans shouldn't tolerate it.

So now we are bin dippers again eh... well a number of our opponents have been singing that bollox for a long time already.... Bin dippers still.... fuck off with that shit... like there aren't any poverty stricken folk in London or in Manchester... sign on sign on with hope in your heart... yeah cos there is nobody in London or Manchester on the dole... Some of the smartest and hardest working people I ever met were Scousers... I just wish we could leave the negative picture of the town and the people in it, which many ignorant wankers still carry around in their heads, back in the past.

I just wish we could have controlled it better as a group of fans and not allowed these cunts to denigrate us again but with actual evidence

I'm glad that Klopp has been vocally pissed off about it and i'd rather we didn't greet the buses if it means we attack em with bottles...
