Henderson's pass was brilliant too, of course, but very different, so it's tough to compare. But you're talking bollocks about the Fabregas one.

It really isn't an unbelievably difficult skill to lay off a ball first time 10 yards between a 5 or 6 yard gap, certainly not for top players.

He and many others will be doing that stuff in training day in day out, we see plenty of goals where players put first time balls through for a runner on the volley, half volley or on the deck, what separates this one from a lot of them is him seeing that pass, the vision, not many would have seen it.

I wouldn't say it was a perfect pass either, if it was along the floor it would have been.

It really isn't as difficult a skill as you think it is, it was a nice pass and great vision but all this best ever in the PL stuff is way ott.

Btw, I just thought I'd add, when I watching that bastard chelski game and Fabregas first touch passed the ball through, the commentators nearly creamed themselves and said there wouldn't be a better pass all season. Fuck off. Sorry, but Henderson's tackle then ball to Sterling was much better. Wankers.

I loved how Fabregas took the pace and weight of the ball with his pass. It was lovely. It wasn't the greatest thing ever but very very good.
