Exactly! I do not understand why we can play so well against the top 6 and capitulate against those smaller team as I mentioned in the match thread.

Could it be the smaller teams are hungrier than us and would not allow us to play?

No, it's that they don't open up to force the play in order to get a goal, so we have to break them down.

We struggle to break down teams who come simply to not concede then we drop in confidence & they've hit us on the break.

to be fair, you could argue they had one eye on the midweek game. yeah yeah, they should be professional but the midweek game was way more important.

Not really. If we were playing with that intensity and drive every week we would seriously be challenging for the league.

It doesn't seem to matter who we buy or who our manager is, our attitude and mentality is never spot on throughout the season.

that has nothing to do with totally underestimating and disrespecting the opposition by thinking all you have to do to walk away with the win is turn up.

The inconsistency is maddening to say the least. We only turn up for the big games. We struggle against lesser teams due to a lack of creativity. We are predictable and have no width.
