Brazil health authorities trying to deport the Prem players that travelled in fear of COVID.

Sommer just made Jorginho look like a right cunt with his little donkey hop penalty.

Imo Brazil acted like cunts and Argentina should be handed the win by FIFA.
Not at all. Brazil didn't play any prem players. Argentina did.

For all Brazil officials could have known was the 4 players were with the squad but would isolate and take no part in the game.

Brazil didn't play any prem players only because we didn't release them..

They are cunts. No one should be releasing any players from now on

Guinea’s borders were closed but the Moroccan squad was given permission to leave, according to local news reports.

“We’re at the hotel, gunshots can be heard nearby,” Morocco coach Vahid Halilhodzic told French newspaper L’Equipe earlier in the day when the team was stranded while an aircraft waited at the airport.

Match officials were also eventually allowed to leave Guinea, the reports said.

It was not immediately clear when Guinea’s Europe-based players including Liverpool’s Naby Keita and Sochaux’s Florentin Pogba, the brother of Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, would be able to return to their clubs. CAF gave no new date for the game to be played.

Hope they aren't pinning their revolutionary hopes on his attacking intent or ability to make it through a series of battles.

You lot are ruthless, poor Naby must be scared shitless and you're all on here making jokes about 1 of our own 🙁

OK, here's the story.
Apparently the health officials DID warn Argentina and also told the police to not let them into the country.
They even tried reaching the Argentinian team in the stadium before the game, but they locked their dressing room and ignored any calls.
The AFA (Argentinian FA), probably just wanted to get the game started, so that it couldn't be stopped and that they could negotiate something afterwards.
You know the classic "we're here, we mind as well play, come on..." type deal.
The Brazilian health officials weren't having it.

Great result for Canada last night against the Americans, with a 1-1 draw. After drawing against Honduras, we definitely needed at least a point here. Feisty, well-contested match that lacked a bit of quality from both teams.

Alphonso Davies does my head in though. Lauded as one of the best left backs in football, he holds the ball too long and lacks end product for me. That said, it was a nice run and assist from him that created Canada's goal.

In my view this is 100% on Argentina and not Brazil. The rules were clear. Should be a 3-0 walk over to Brazil

Surely the Brazilian FA should have sorted this out with their counterparts? The fact that you have double standards for your own players is enough reason to punish Brazil imo.

They should be banned from calling up Alisson and Fab for 2 years

Imagine if Poland now decided that all players entering from the UK had to quarantine for five days...

So the BBC released this pic with the story ... but I can't find Naby. Anyone help me out?

He's probably on the other end of that phone call, good old soldier trying to get a medical update from the hospital.
