Very very slow getting the ball into the danger areas and often with not enough players weighing in on the attack, oft only two (Sterling and Kane). Phillips has been shite in midfield though undeservedly on a yellow.

100%.. I was saying 10 minutes prior to the goal no subs will cost England. They were getting slower and slower.

Pretty good summation of the England performances but the ratings are too high - especially after the comments he made.

Southgate 4 - failed to address any issues and zero substitutions (as he often does and often surrenders leads, maybe because of it). he commented "We were in total control, there was no issue, why disrupt it when you're in control?" Because clearly you weren't and subs would have both disrupted their play by slowing the game down and rested tired players more suited to attack than defence. Idiot.

Phillips 6 (1st half awful 2nd half better and was to blame for often conservatively recycling when Sterling or Kane were far better options forward)

Kane 5 (goal aside, gains an extra point, he was atrocious, including a header from 6m that went virtually sideways).

Time and time again Mount Shaw and Grealish showed lovely technical skills and passing up against 5 defenders deep on our left but instead of spending 1-2 mins each time trying to pass / dribble their way through (highly unlikely to happen) why did they persist and not spread the ball wide to the other flank? So predictable and easy to snuff out.

Poland : didn't deserve a point and had to constantly sub players off to avoid red cards : 5 Yellows (to England's 2, one of which, Phillips', was never a yellow), that should have been 7 or 8, showed how agricultural they were!

Referee (German) : 4. Very poor, numerous bad or clearly wrong, decisions.
