Offensive and defensive effectiveness of every club in the top four leagues

TLDR - Bayern have an incredible defense, and Barca have an incredible offense.

Liverpool create the most chances in the PL but are average at finishing them.

Interesting.

Defensively : We don't allow many attempts and few teams (13) allow more chances per game, however we concede more often per attempt, so is the weakness in the GK or the CBs ? Obviously as a team we do pretty well to restrict the attempts on goal.

Attack : 5th most shots per game in Europe, with average conversion rate, pretty much what we knew then.

I think that's reading too much into it. It's a bit like winners vs unforced errors in tennis. If a player has more unforced errors of doesn't mean he has been careless. It could be that he has been forced to work tougher angles.

Likewise I think teams are content to wait for clear cut chances, rather than take pot shots against us. How many have we conceeeded from outside the box or worldies? We normally give a goal on a plate...
