Yeah its not ALL doom and gloom. We have played a few of the toughest games of the season and still got a points total that is decent. We are there or there abouts

They are shit games and any of them you would be happy with a point from, so we have taken 7 from them.

Norwich H
Sunderland H
I would genuinely expect 12 points from and we only have 8 so we are 2 points up in the tough games but 4 points down vs the dross.

We're far from perfect and there's plenty of things to be working on - finishing and fitness being the two main areas as we seem short of both but overall we're in a far better position than we were 12 months ago. Top 4 is quite achievable. If we hit a bit of form who knows.

Andy Carroll. Call me an idiot but he will score goals, he would have scored against Norwich if he was on from the beginning. Stick him on the pitch and tell him to just stay in the box and try to score. Let Suarez, Bellamy or Downing buzz around him and stick Hendo, Gerrard and Adam/Lucas in the middle. Just fucking do it Kenny. We'll score goals, for all Andy's flaws, he do believe he knows how to score goals.

Yes, big man, you are dead right, we did quite a bit on the subs, it was bizarre. All he had to do was hook Dirk off , put Carroll on and leave everything else as it was, downing was not great but I would have persisted with him in that set up. I am convinced if he had done that when they equalised we would have gone on to win.
