Oh look - Spurs dropped 2 points.

But we went one step further, as usual. Result was fair though in the end - we fucking deserved nothing.

Terrible game really.

They had a lot more chances than us but their finishing was average and Pepe was solid.

Skrtel's header was decent.

The Greek was a fucking disaster. Both penalties were the result of his lack of guile, balance and reactions.

Our midfield was shit.

Suarez was decent enough and Carroll is finding his feet, although both were offered next to no service. The only times we threatened was when Suarez gets near the byline and jinks past a few players and sets something up, or off a set-piece - other than that, we offered nothing.

Cole should of come on sooner too.
 
I think it's all terribly unfair. How are we supposed to cope with 3 o clock kick offs on a Saturday ? It's a conspiracy

I used to think that, but it becomes pretty difficult to make that case when he stuffs ManUre up as well, as Jack says. There have certainly been refs who've had an agenda where we're concerned (step forward David Elleray, who reffed us a total of 31 times, out of which we won FIVE), but I now reckon Atkinson's just a sh!t referee, whoever's playing.

Probably not, game would have ended at midnight approx.

They'd have watched the game, then would have had to delete the loads of texts from Mancs laughing at them.

I'm more than happy to go on a witch hunt about him, since he's unsure if he'd sign for United.

If we're gonna be shit I'd rather we were just shit, and they stopped these United and Chelsea type performances whereby I think they're decent.

Didn't he have some crazy record when he signed for us , something like saved 6 or 7 of his last 11 ....in fairness he saved a few in the 2006 FA cup final but apart from that has he saved any for us ?
 
I'm joking about his penalty record. I don't really care as he's proven to be one of, if not the, best keeper around.

But he can still fuck off.
 
No i mean of course he's a top keeper , for me he could be the best out there ....but it just typical us , we sign a keeper with amazing penalty saving record and then he never manages to save any for us .
 
Pepe saved a penalty in the away leg of a Champions League qualifier last season - that made the difference to us getting to the group stage.
