thought the boys were very unlucky. they looked solid at the back, neat and tidy in midfield and dangerous going forward (with exception of ngoo - who's finishing was awful). very impressed with sterling, silva and suso (although the latter 2 faded in the second half). enough chances to win 3 games let alone 1 - similarities with the first team in the early season then. if sterling keeps progressing, i would hope he is given a chance next season.

Me too, he deserves to be getting run outs next season, I hope they spend from now until then bulking him up.

For all his talents I do feel that Sterling's decision making needs to improve and he tends to hold onto the ball a bit too much at time, a bit like Pacheco.
His finishing is Suarez like at times as well, either poor or sublime, it seems.
He is still a very exciting prospect though and has the potential to be a superstar.
I thought Coady had a good game last night too, quietly effective all night. Something about the way he moves on the pitch reminds me of Gerrard, though they play different roles on the pitch

What impressed me last night was how direct sterling was, he has the pace and the skills to beat his man. I just hope he is given a chance, because he is a damn sight better than the weasel downing. Re: coady, agree with what you said, quietly goes about his business with no fuss.
