it will be interesting to see how they go here . From everything i've read and seen , so many of the 'star' names , sterling , suso etc have all stalled a little this year . Not sure why that is the case , borrell really knows his stuff so he'll be a little irritated by that .
I mean obviously with LFC TV & live youth games these players are known from a young aged and hyped to fuck . So you obviously need to remain grounded but i still hoped they'd take this tournament by storm which they haven't really . They might still do but i think we're still a fair bit down on the other top euro teams .

The answer is probably that we overrated them. I've always thought that half the challenge with youngsters is taking that initial excitement or momentum in their progression and maintaining it. It's difficult though because how can you without proper football, which we can't give. This next gen series is a fantastic step in the right direction, it getting sky coverage as well is a huge, it will motivate the youngsters immensely and make them work harder.

I think the reason is there is more attention on them now and people expect them to tear shit up every week and when you are that age it is difficult to be stand out brilliant week in week out.
