They booed their own team, but applauding the team trouncing you is good form, it used to be commonplace at Anfield if we got beaten to clap the other team off at full time following them beating us, sadly the last time I was there only about half the people remaining thought to do it.

I think it is very bad when supporters leave their seats before the final whistle. Whether it's because they are disgusted by the team's performance, or whether they just want to get out of the car park before the rush, it's not giving the team the total support that they ought to.
These people who leave early are ready to berate the players if they don't think they are giving 100%. But by deserting the ground, they are failing to deliver 100% themselves.
