Could put the Intensity book from Lijnders in the middle of the park and it would add more weight

We've been poor since going 2-0 up.
We’ve only done well from the 9th minute till the red card.

Firmino looked 50 years old.
Jota looked really good. Just a bit unlucky and sloppy with his finishing.
We will be mugs if we offer him a new contract.

Good performance - we went into our “game management shell” after the red card, which, given who we have next, wasn’t a bad idea, but it did make us look lethargic.
Jota & Bobby getting decent minutes was good - they’re both rusty as fuck.
Alisson was excellent, Virgil is back & Fabinho’s performance was his best in a long time, suggesting he might be getting something resembling form back. Milner was good when he came on, Trent was decent and I thought Gomez wasn’t entirely awful.
We shouldn’t be focusing on any negatives from this game - this is all positive, 2 wins in a row, 2 clean sheets, players coming back from injury, all 3 front players getting goals over the last few games, etc, etc.
Onward to Tuesday night.

He won’t get another deal. Gakpo will take his role. But with added pace.
Van Dijk grew into the game. As did Fabs who still looks a yard off it. Another good game from the badger.
I’m pissed off with the game management. So many times players did silly things. Just keep knocking it round into the extra space we had. We kept causing our own problems instead of suffocating the game.
