MOURINHO FIRED

I'm a bit disappointed that agent Mourinho wasn't able to continue a bit longer, really fuck them up in another couple of transfer windows.
So we assume that they're now writing off top 4 this season, and the champions league for next season, as they'll put any old idiot in charge. But who goes in for next year? Utd fans all seem to think they'll just call up Levy with their shit squad, and he'll hand of Poch for buttons and he'll be the messiah. I don't think Poch will fancy it in their current state, nor would he be likely to leave off the back of a new contract and moving into the new stadium, and Levy would be a maaaaaaasive cunt about it and charge them like 200mill to get him. Will interesting to see who the go for next season. Hopefully Carrick does good, they give him a 5yr contract and then he implodes next season.

Will be difficult for him to do anything meaningful in 48 hours I would think.

They've forged a Faustian deal with Pogba. Actually, it's not even as good as a Faustian deal - at least you get a bit of good from one of those. I'm sure there are plenty of managers who will feel confident they can get more of a tune out of Pogba, but that number diminishes hugely when it comes to how many would want such a character in their squad - and the message the board have sent out is, 'He'll stay whatever you think about that'.

Could you imagine how old Slur Alex would react if he came in for a temporary stint, and Pogba turned up with his hair dyed blue before the Man City game? He'd have an aneurysm.

Yeah but has had an open cheque book where ever he went with already good players.
Surely he's run out of open cheque book clubs?

Or will PSG be his last hurrah?

I'd like to see him manage a 2nd tier club in a big league. See what he can do with a limited budget against other top managers.

He was fine – more than fine, actually – in Juve and France national team. Let's not turn him into Balotelli, just because Mourinho decided to pick a fight with him. He might not be a leader, but he is not a toxic player either – neither is Martial or Mkhitaryan or Fabregas or Casillas all of whom were ostracized and made an example of by Jose.

Hahaha! I don't know how to post up twitter posts but Gary Neville just piped up regarding Pogba's tweet earlier. It's pretty funny how the entire Manc community is in absolute meltdown. Can someone post it?

I do find it hard to see where he'll go. Managing Portugal, that's his best bet at this stage, I would've thought.

Breaking news. Jose Mourinho sacked. Manchester united club officials in talks with Sam "bisto tits" Allardyce just cos its funny [emoji4][emoji1787][emoji23][emoji1787]

Jamie Jackson has been in touch with some more details about why Mourinho was sacked and what will happen next.
Why he was sacked
United finally lost patience with a head coach who was not adhering to the club’s core attacking values and who had overseen their worst start to a campaign for 28 years. Mourinho was also relieved of his duties due to a transfer spend of around £400m on 11 players that, it is understood, the club insist were all the Portuguese’s choice.
In addition to the disquiet regarding the side’s stultifying style, there was further disappointment at Mourinho’s development and improvement of United’s younger players. The club also took into account the growing unhappiness from fans at the direction of the club under Mouinho.
What happens next
It is understood the compensation due to Mourinho will be no more than £15m. Michael Carrick will take charge of training on Tuesday, before an interim boss is appointed. That move is expected to happen before the end of the week.
That caretaker role will last until the end of the season but this will not be Carrick, Nicky Butt or anyone from within the club. Instead, following a thorough and extensive process will have Mourinho’s permanent successor in place for next season.

This is bad news. They're likely going to find a non mentalist who the players don't hate and subsequently see some sort of upturn

The fear is there. It's always there. I had similar fears when Mourinho was hired; proven winner who'll be allowed sign expensive players. I was sick when they signed Zlatan, Sanchez and then Pogba. The fear of United winning leagues again will always be there but I think we have to be grateful and enjoy the recent slide of theirs. They are currently 19 points behind us and it's not even Christmas yet. Yeah they'll experience an upturn in form but it will still take a while to fix the bloated squad and reinstall the winning mentality which has diminished over the last 5 years. United are just another team these days. The power is gone. It left with Ferguson. United fans celebrating again because another manager is sacked. Just like they celebrated when Moyes left and when Van Gaal left. They are just another club, the fear factor is gone. Fuck them and lets hope they get the next managerial decision wrong.

I like this.

* Manchester United’s defence conceded 36 shots to Liverpool in Mourinho’s final game in charge. No United side have faced as many shots in a single game since Premier League records began in 2003.

* United’s tally of 26 points is their lowest at this stage of any season since 1990-91.

* United conceded 29 goals in 17 games this season – one more than the total they conceded during the whole of last season in the Premier League.

* United’s defensive record is their worst at this stage of a season since 1962-63

* United have been outrun by the opposition in every Premier League match this season. Tottenham ran 10.2km more than United during their 3-0 win at Old Trafford in August.

* Fulham (0) are the only club to keep fewer clean sheets than United (2) this season. Cardiff and Huddersfield (both 3) have more.

* Joe Hart (72), Lukasz Fabianski (66) and Neil Etheridge (62) are the only keepers to have made more saves than David de Gea (61) in the Premier League this season.
* United have conceded more shots (237) in the Premier League this season than Huddersfield (208) and Cardiff (232)

* United have conceded more goals (41) than Newcastle (39) in the Premier League in 2018.

* Romelu Lukaku (12) and Anthony Martial (10) are the only players to reach double figures for goals in the Premier League for United in 2018 (29 games). Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford (both 6) are the only other players to score more than Chris Smalling (4) since January began. The best-paid player in England’s top flight – Alexis Sanchez – is one goal behind him.

* Jose Mourinho lost at least once to 11 of the 23 teams he has faced as United manager in the Premier League.

* Mourinho lost 20% of his 144 games at Manchester United – the joint-biggest loss percentage of his career, with his 20-game stint with União de Leiria. His record at United is marginally worse than his second spell at Chelsea (19.85%).
The only other time Mourinho has lost more than 14% of his games at any one club was during his first foray into management with Benfica (18.1%) in 2000. He then rarely lost with Porto (11.8%), Chelsea (11.3%), Inter Milan (13.8%) and Real Madrid (12.3%) His four worst tenures in management in terms of loss percentage have therefore been in his first two and last two jobs, with his four best all coming in between.

* Mourinho lost 29 of his 144 United games – the most matches he has lost during a single managerial spell.

* Liverpool have spent longer at the top of the Premier League table (60 days) than United (45 days) since Mourinho’s appointment in summer 2016.

* 60 Premier League hat-tricks have been scored since Manchester United’s most recent (Robin van Persie, April 2013). Eighteen different Premier League clubs – including Aston Villa, Burnley, QPR, Stoke and Sunderland – have scored one since United last did.

Hmm, its funny that this is happening but it depends a bit on who they appoint.
Poch wouldnt be good for us, as he’d make Utd a much better side. They have the resources to step up again and be a top club.

But hopefully they’ll fuck the appoinment again. Now that would be funny.
If Pochetino goes there, Spurs will fall apart. Therefore Net we wouldnt have any more of an issue.
