MOURINHO FIRED

Everything now is just going through the same fucking motions. The same ploys, the same excuses, the same dour, spiritless football, the same joyless expressions. There's nothing interesting about what he does and he seems to think he should get eternal credit for his mere existence.

I'm a bit disappointed that agent Mourinho wasn't able to continue a bit longer, really fuck them up in another couple of transfer windows.
So we assume that they're now writing off top 4 this season, and the champions league for next season, as they'll put any old idiot in charge. But who goes in for next year? Utd fans all seem to think they'll just call up Levy with their shit squad, and he'll hand of Poch for buttons and he'll be the messiah. I don't think Poch will fancy it in their current state, nor would he be likely to leave off the back of a new contract and moving into the new stadium, and Levy would be a maaaaaaasive cunt about it and charge them like 200mill to get him. Will interesting to see who the go for next season. Hopefully Carrick does good, they give him a 5yr contract and then he implodes next season.

And so, after a record-breaking residency in a Manchester hotel, the man the English will always think of as 'Hose-ay Mourin-ee-o' finally packs away his giant breakfast plate and heads off to London with the staff clearly saddened to see the great man go.

Hmm, its funny that this is happening but it depends a bit on who they appoint.
Poch wouldnt be good for us, as he’d make Utd a much better side. They have the resources to step up again and be a top club.

But hopefully they’ll fuck the appoinment again. Now that would be funny.

I'm ok with this. I'm only looking short term...the Mancs can get their new manage bounce just in time for facing the other top 4 teams...we have played them twice. I don't care what they do now..

What? No. Away game to come in Feb.

It's going to take them at least 18 -24 months to turnaround that squad and even then they will still have some serious deadweight contracts like Alexis Sanchez on the books.

I still expect that a new manager would get more out of this team in the short term but not a huge amount more.

It's a squad with attacking talent but no defensive talent , trying to play defensive football.

I hope you're right, but I don't think they're that far off. 3 or 4 good players in the summer will put things right under a different manager.

I hate the man after his shitehouse tactics at Chelsea came and stole away a title from us.

Gerrard's slip was the focus. And not the 90mins of time wasting his team employed that day. It was a gutless display of cowardice from a so-called "top side". Why not outplay us fairly? Why the need for such gamesmanship? I still think only 30mins of actual football was played that day. Someone should go back and time it. It was ridiculous.

So seeing him sacked, after a loss at Anfield, is poetic justic in a way. But I was actually coming around to warming to the fella, as he seemed to accept the defeat at Anfield with a measure of "grace" (blaming luck and not referees/linemans; that was a big step forward for him; "progress").

He was also in visible pain each week on the touchline, and I admired him for sticking through this. He deserved it. It felt like watching him suffer and bring United down with him, well, the wounds of that Chelsea shitehousery began to heal. Full forgiveness could have been given, had he sold Pogba and had Martial/De Gea leave the club. Hell, i'd have been a fan of his for life, if he been given another year to ensure their relegation from the division.

But alas, he's gone, and the bleeding at United has stopped. Jose gets a massive 20 odd million pay off and United can actually move forward again. So yeah, he didn't achieve the necessary failure at United for me to ever forgive him.

Such a shame. The cunt.

Haha! Massive meltdown over at Redcafe. Mostly about Pogba's tweet. Most seem to think it wasn't him but some ad agency......Errrrr No it really was him/

They've forged a Faustian deal with Pogba. Actually, it's not even as good as a Faustian deal - at least you get a bit of good from one of those. I'm sure there are plenty of managers who will feel confident they can get more of a tune out of Pogba, but that number diminishes hugely when it comes to how many would want such a character in their squad - and the message the board have sent out is, 'He'll stay whatever you think about that'.
