Watcjing Bowen against Chelsea he has much more of a Mane vibe than a Salah one but he could definitely add to our team. Think we will have to reinvent the wheel next season or the one after
Think Bowen has a Jota vibe myself - less flash, but effective and works hard.
I do wonder if Salah and Mbappe's paths are somehow inextricably linked. It has long been said that if any club had the capacity to turn his head, it is Madrid. Mbappe's contract is ticking down, and everyone expects him to go to Madrid when his contract ends in August 2022. If that happens, is there room for Mo? Does he chase the money in PSG? Is there a faint chance that we can bring Mbappe in and sell Mo with our best wishes to Madrid, or will Salah re-sign with us seeing that the only team that could tempt him has made their big move for a forward? Will Madrid end up with them both?
Mbappe will go to Madrid. Salah will go somewhere. We'll sign Sepp van den Berg's brother.
Give Mo what he wants there's no-one at his level (and we couldn't get them even if there were) and there are more trophies in this team. That and qualifying for the CL should more than cover the £100m we'd get for him.
