Having two quality footballers playing as well as they can makes all the difference.

If we get these two firing on all cylinders till the end of the season and 5th is possible.

Both are supremely gifted in the technical ability department; Suarez in particular took the piss at times tonight.

Ming's movement is brilliant, though I thought at times tonight his touch let him down. I think the best thing about those two and Carroll is that they make us the sum of our parts a bit more, they all provide that something different. If we add a quick wide player to that we could be well on our way.

I felt Kuyt was the real star today, but yeah, getting some technically gifted footballers in has helped our game no end.

If spurs win their game in hand and fifth is still quoted as a possibility then so is fourth.

I thought Meireles was pretty poor tonight, albeit out of position. He got better in the second half though.

Suarez seemed a little over eager as they game went on, but is a truly wonderful player.
