Especially as Heskey seems to have got a new lease of life under GH.

What is it about chemistry between people?

Sometimes it just seems the combination of medicrity and very good can create the absolute sublime while other combinations, that seem utterly perfect, amount to nothing more than average.

Chemistry? Big, unselfish forward with small, nippy goalscorer.

Hardly a mystery

I think Wizardry was referring to the GH/Heskey chemistry. O'Neill did well enough with Heskey at Leicester years ago but doesn't seem to have hit the spot with him at Villa, whereas in two games under GH Heskey has really looked the part.

Rumours in Michael Owen is a target of A-League club Newcastle United Jets.

Newcastle's owner is seriously loaded with $$$.

Apparently Owen will be offered big money + a thoroughbred horse haha.

Newcastle currently have former Leeds striker Michael Bridges on their books, and had Francis Jeffers on a short-term deal earlier this season.

And also Robbie Fowler plays for Perth.

As much as I despise Owen, him coming to the A-League would give the sport one hell of a profile here.

Harry kewell is looking at a move to the a-league as well, but, unsurprisingly, he wants a bucket load if cash. Melbourne heart looked at him, but he was going to cost too much.

Gold coast or newcastle might be options or even Sydney I suppose

I think Kewell will still be looking to play in Europe in 2011/12 season.

After that, there's a chance he'll come to the A-League.

But it would be unreal to have Kewell & Owen over hear, making the 'super stars' from the other rival sports look like little mice 🙂

Wasn't injuries that did for Bridges ?

On the face of it, yes, but I always thought he was overhyped anyway.
