NO - he needs to slow down. He'll be out of a job sooner rather than later, and I'd rather he calms down ... We need him there for 2-3 more years.

Nah. I can't imagine they fire him. What should they actually do? Their dealings lately make them stuck With what hey have, and that is pure fantastic.

A lot of my Man U fans were accepting Maureen on the basis that he would at least make them win, so they could handle that other shit. But now they are not winning and still have to put up With all the other shit!!

I'd love to know what those in their boardroom who never really wanted him are thinking and saying now.

Couldn't happen to a nicer club.

They've not got the most difficult run coming up though until the end of the year, it is possible for them to go on a bit of a run. But if it keeps up like this then the fans are going to be on his back, although I think he's exempt from a sacking this year by the club, even if they had a season like chelski last year.

They've got Swansea away, Arsenal, Everton, Spurs, West Ham, WBA, Palace etc before Christmas. Thats not easy...

Ripping into Mkhitaryan by name as well. Serious question - is it possible that Mkhitaryan was foisted on him by Woodward or somebody at that level?
It is worth remembering what Mourinho was boasting about before the season started at this point

http://www.skysports.com/football/n...urinho-wants-four-signings-in-transfer-window

They are his players. He wanted four specialists and he got them. The fact that he doesn't know Pogba's best position and can't find a place for Mkhitaryan is down to him and it's fucking hilarious.

The most expensive football team ever assembled.

Scummers going on a long losing streak, hopefully with the occassional win to keep the gaffer. Mourinho will probably have a huge penalty fee if he gets fired. Hope they keep him for a while yet. Can't remember them looking so dire in many a year. Loving it, every minute of it! Just to think that they thought Jose is the 2nd coming. :yuck:

This is surpassing all the hopes I had for how things would go for them post-Ferguson, which was always going to test them massively. Making Moyes' head explode was one thing, but van Gaal and Mourinho also getting caught in the backdraft? Almost too good to be true.

Mourhino will be given 2/3 windows to clear out the squad. They've amassed a serious amount of shit at that club. The good thing is that Mourhino has no real track record for that kind of job. He normally just adds to what is there. So what I'm saying is that it could get even worse than it is now!

They've also got the most expensive ever squad and some top players. It's up to him to get a tune out of them.

He's there to win the league and he can't do that with 4/5 decent players he has. The squad isn't strong enough.

Who is a top player in their squad?

De Gea - Yes. Without question.
Shaw - Has potential.
Pogba - Not really looking a "top" player
Martial - Good striker but is playing wide
Rashford - Potential as a striker but playing wide.

Where are these top players @Gary25 ?

So have they spent £626m on this squad for a laugh?

Can you name ours?

They have the making of a very good side and for one reason or another they're underperforming. Long may it continue.

I'm trying to debate United. You say, as Gary has said, they've got top players and the making of a very good side.

All I'm asking is do they really? Where are these "top" players?

De Gea
Valencia
Smalling
Bailly
Shaw
Herrara
Pogba
Mata
Rashford
Martial
Ibrahimovic

I'd say that's their best XI. You could argue a place for Blind, Mkhitaryan and maybe even Rooney. But it isn't a title winning side and I just don't see the top players outside of their 'keeper.

It's amazing that he avoids playing with pace in a league that pretty much demands it. He had issues with Hazard, he didn't like Mata etc and how he's trying to shoe Rooney and Ibra into an attack, that can be easily nullified by defending high. Fucking genius.

Astonishing stat from @OliverKayTimes: since the start of last season with #cfc and #mufc Mourinho is averaging 1.15 points per game

Nah, they have a few very good players, some good players but a loopsided squad with loads of average ones as well.

Pogba, Mata, Mkhitarian have proven pedigree. Rashford and Martial a lot of promise.

In Valencia, Herrera, Bailly et al there is the makings of a good supporting cast.

Ibra will go at the end of the season, probably along with Rooney.

A new attacker along with a Vidal / Keane type in midfield and another CB will see them much improved.

Of course this is all assuming Mourinho gets his shit together, which doesn't seem to be a forgone conclusion any more.
