No luck today. Wasn't the worst performance but we need to buck up.
Goals win games and we didn't get the rub of the green today. Adam is still inconsistent Suarez and Henderson both missed sitters.
Ah well, Spurs away is gonna be some test. Hope the team that ended the game starts next week and Gerrard gets in.

We got about as unlucky as you can against Stoke.... they are in good form, bouyed by good signings and we concede a iffy(ish) penalty early doors so they can just sit back all game.

They've narrowed the pitch even further to promote the kicking and hassling. Not much about football this ground.
Glad this fixture is out the way now without any apparent injuries. We were mostly unlukcy not to get anything point-wise.

I thought Adam was actually pretty good, played some brilliant passes, yes he messed some up too, but considering he's played 4 games with his team-mates, the understanding will only improve. When attempting to play those incisive passes, there'll always be a couple wtf moments, he perhaps needs to tone down the "hollywood" a bit though. Oh and his corners were ace.
A few people have said we were unlucky. Why? We had at least 2 clear cut chances but made a right balls up of them. It was shit finishing, not luck.

i actually don't mind Stoke, but they shouldn't be able to get away with the grass thing. i can't believe there isn't some regulation governing that: every surface in the PL should be a standard, it's not like it's difficult to enforce.
