Look, we were never gonna go the whole season without losing, a defeat in a fixture, which we would all accept is a tough fixture, is not the end of the world.

This comment about having 'too many passers' is an interesting one, because to me that is one of the positives fom yesterday, the fact that we are a team that is now much more comfortable in possession and have players that pass the ball around very well. we have to take into account that we are team that are still getting to know each other and we will improve as the season goes on.

I want 4th, I think we're capable of that.

We also had 8 corners or so. Adam's first one was a beast.

The whole time I was wondering why the hell Carroll is on the bench. I'm not his greatest fan, but he would have been a better option than Kuyt up front.

For me, it's the one problem that wasn't solved in the summer. We still only have one striker. It used to be Torres, now it's Carroll. IMO a striker is a specialist role and every team needs at least one. If you try to use midfielders to score your goals, it doesn't usually work.
