Was it fuck. He didnt jump anywhere near the man, he jumped to block the ball. It was a bullshit over reaction to an honest challenge. It was a poor challenge but honest to fuck youre crazy if you think that was a red.

When you jump in with both feet of the ground you know you're giving the ref a chance to send you off and he has every right to do so. It was a horribly stupid challenge and dangerous.

Atkinson's getting off far too lightly here. We've often been short-changed by the stupid sod, though I don't think he's biased against us - I've seen other teams get the same treatment from him. He's just p!$$-poor all round.

He jumped in with ONE leading leg and thats the issue. If someone launches two footed they HAVE to go, if someone takes off to win the ball with one foot they have to leave the ground with their other foot, its impossible not to. A GOOD referee can tell the difference between intent and of course dangerous play and someone who is genuinely trying to win the ball.
