I see the usual naysayers are doubting us. one of those days they will be right, but I am going for a 2-0 win for us. Kiss me hand when it's done.

I wouldn't kiss your hand it it was cupping Emily Blunt's left breast and I have a lot of time for Emily Brunt's breasts.

Think we'll go all guns blazing and take this one...it'l be tight but going for 3-1 us (Suarez twice and henderson).

Hahaha.

I've stayed in this weekend and im gonna be sober for this game tomorrow. Nice change from the Chelsea game last weekend which was an ordeal. Really looking forward to it even though its on at 8am over here.

I'd he happy with the same team as last time with Henderson, Downing and Carroll coming on as subs. Bellamy could prove to be a thorn in Man City's side today. We know what we'll get from Bellers, with his all action, in your face style but he has also shown his intelligence with his use of the ball. His pass completion rates are excellent he rarely loses possession and he still seems to have his pace. Looking forward to see Bellamy using Enrique on the overlap. We seem to get joy out of this and both players seem to be on the same wave lenght.

I'm hoping for a high tempo from the first whistle and that we deploy a high pressing game. Maxi, Suarez, Bellamy and Kuyt to be constantly on the move and wander into space so they are available for Lucas and Adam to slide the ball into. I don't want to see Adam forcing impossible balls to Suarez so it's imperative our 'front' four are always on the move. It feels like we're playing football by numbers when Downing and Carroll play. We seem rigid and predictable. Maxi, Bellamy and Suarez give us an unpredictable factor and take up dangerous positions when we can hurt teams.

City have a plethora of talent to come at us. Everything good usually comes through footballs equivalent of sex, David Silva. Once he turns and faces you up you are in trouble. He has the guile and ability to pick out his pass. If City have runners from deep he will have a field day knocking the ball into space for them. Our fullback have plenty of pace but will have to concentrate on their positioning. I'd nearly ask Glen to make to limit his forward runs. I'm not saying that he shouldn't gamble, I just don't want him caught out of position and exposing our right side. I'm critical of Srktel at times and I often accuse him of diving in and making an unnecessary challenge when standing off is the better option. We can't give away silly free's as it's inviting Lescott, Richards, Yaya, Dzeko et all into our box. Same goes for Lucas and Adam who both have a penchant for giving away cheap free's.

Can Chuck Adam put in another performance like he did at Chelsea? Here's hoping. It's gonna be a tough 90 mins for Adam and Lucas. City are strong and powerful in there. Yaya likes to stride past players and will run from deep at every opportunity. I nearly forgot they have Samir Nasri, it's ridiculous the attacking options they have at their disposal.

Fuck it, I think we'll do well today. 1-1 draw or we might even take all three points. We smashed them here last season. Carroll got two and Jay and Lucas dominated the midfield. I hope Balotelli isn't acting the cunt if he plays. I'd hate to have to turn on Mario.

Some more footage of Kenny celebrating like a fan on the sideline would be nice.

I'm going for a close win, on blind faith (and last week's first-half performance) alone.

*crosses fingers, toes, legs, eyes, road*

Who knows what will happen today, I am relatively confident.
City will have had some of their confidence knocked out of them given their European position and now know they are fallible.
We, on the other hand had a good result at Stamford Bridge.
I don't think we will lose, but I don't think what went on at White Hart Lane months ago is any sort of yard-stick for today.

regards

This is a big factor in my hopes of a win here. I reckon they're going to start to tire just a little and emotionally they're going to feel it late in the game. If it's tight at 65 minutes I can see them starting to fade.

Big call for Kenny; should he go tight against such a plethora of attacking talent or should he go for it and exploit any potential fatigue and questions that city might have? I hope he goes for it - no guts no glory to an extent. If he plays it tight it won't really tell us, IMO, where we are as a team at the moment.

The usual Sopcast link doesn't seem to be working right now..
Could any kind soul give me a good Sopcast link please?
Thanks!

Like Spurs I think this is the other team in the Premiership we don't match up well against. I'm not looking forward to this game.

We will win this game - and it will be either 2-0 or 4-1 to us. I can feel it in my balls guys - its really sexual.

On this particular occasion, i don't think you needed that signature there.....thx!

Well our Craig will probably play with a heavy heart today and Adam too by the sounds of things.

It'll interesting to see how we shape up against them, we've been getting it together slowly of late.

Behave yourself, not everyone would react the same to something like this.

It's up to Craig and his decision is right, whichever way it goes.

Fucking idiot.

Im not being callous nor an idiot, I can fully understand if craig is upset but i personally would want to assert the fact that life is not a bad thing and go out and play the game i love.... i dont see that as disrespectful at all.... the opposite in fact.

Im not slagging the lad if he has dropped out im just telling you as i see it personally.

I've lost two of my closest friends in tragic, sudden circumstances and in both instances, my head was all over the place for days.

Bellamy has just, JUST found out that one of best mates has hanged himself.

How in the actual fuck is he meant to go and play football with *that* in his mind ?
