Massive gaps in midfield and Lucas is pretty anonymous and pointless - those having at pop at Gerrard need to have a look at how much ground he's having to cover to back up Lucas.

Agger is struggling big time at LB tonight. He still looks concussed FFS.

Small signs of recovery towards the end of the half but we need a massive improvement.

Yeah I wouldn't go that far, he's done ok, their midfield has bossed it, but no surprise with three big athletic DM's playing against Lucas and Gerrard.

Adam Johnson has been really good.

the problem is man city's team is filled with proactive players, i.e. will pick up the ball and run towards goal and our team is filled with reactive players, i.e. players that look to stop attacks and look to lay off the ball when they recieve it.
