I dunno mate - I still have the feeling that some players still play the games for 'love' and still have an attachment to the club etc ... I know it's rare, and footy is a business, but I get the feeling Suarez wants to be a part of this club for the long term before moving on to Barcelona/Real (as is the dream of most of these Spanish speaking kids).

Torres, as Ryan pestered us about during his last few seasons and was clearly on display during the WC, was a 'me' first player. He wanted to do well for himself. I just don't see Suarez that way ... Maybe he is, he hasn't given us an opportunity to see him in that light, but I currently don't see it. I'm hoping he stays - b/c I want Liverpool's glory days to return with him leading the pack.

Well, he deserves to be playing in the Champions league and he's not going to get that with us.
He deserves to be on the verge of winning things, he's not gonna get that with us.
He should and could be playing with better players.
He's gonna have a pretty hard time in England over the next year anyway.
He is good enough for any of the top top clubs in Europe.
Basically the only valid reason for him staying is sentiment and an attachment to the club, which most players these days don't have.

Especially after 7 months.
I think he enjoys being part of something, if, a big if at that, he plays with us and is the main man in us getting into the champions league and us winning things, it'll be a lot sweeter. That said, if Madrid made a serious offer for him, I doubt he'd be too upset.
