I guess I should know this but what's the situation now? When is he likely to get and start serving a ban from either or both of the issues?

I never used to like fanning but he's written a lot of good articles in the last 12-15 months. I think he wrote one on Rafa/Ferguson and ferguson being a dickhead that started to sway me!

Yeah, that's a very good article. One of the best I've read in a long time.

Craig Bellamy is a man of character but he is not a natural diplomat.

Hahaha

Neil warnock on suarez:"He is a foreign player in a foreign country. The crowd away from home gives him so much stick he should be protected from that as much as possible. Yes, he has got to learn that he cannot be making gestures but bloody hell, the stick he gets, it is about time someone did something about it. I think the FA and Premier League should do something."They are so quick to charge him in terms of putting a finger up. Look at the abuse he is getting and charge the clubs concerned if they are going to give abuse like that. The stewards must hear it away from home but they turn a deaf ear."

Well in.

The ban will obviously encompass our next league game v Man U. Obv!!!

Why do you think this is being dragged out?

'the liverbirds'

catchy.

Liverpool have been given more time by the Football Association to respond to the two charges that followed last week's 1-0 defeat at Fulham.

The club were charged with failing to control their players following the sending off of Jay Spearing.

Striker Luis Suarez was charged with improper conduct over an allegedly abusive hand gesture.

The Reds were originally given until 1600 GMT on Monday to respond but have now been given an extension.

Why do these things drag on for so long ? I mean they're hardly Den Haag War Crimes tribunals are they . Just get it sorted .

Although perhaps we are delaying in a hope to avoid a ban over the busy Christmas period . That's all i can think of for needing an extension to prepare a case .
