Back and to the left. Back.....and to the leyuft!
That would be the pragmatic line of fire, but I'd take my chances with a magic bullet line passing through Lovren, Mignolet, the goalkeeping coach and a couple of scouts.

You are failing to probability adjust your scenarios. If you risk 3-2, the other results around that possibility like 3-3 or 2-2 are much worse than 0-0. It's better to take such risks when the reward of an away goal is in your favour or else if Lovren has already put us 1-0 down after 10 minutes.
The fucking arrogance of some of our fans is making me sick.
🙁
Fair point.
Though every time we try to 'hold the line' we inevitably fk it up so we may as well just try to outscore them.
I must be the only one left who is shitting their pants and fearing the worst.

Same routine as City at home.
Finish work at 4pm, meet Woland in town, have about 6 pints and talk shit for a couple of hours, then taxi to the ground.
Same result.
3-0
They will believe they can beat us.... They’ll fear nobody.... I don’t think they’ll be overawed at Anfield either... This could be a very tense couple of games... I think they’ll sit super deep and play us on the counter tonight. Could be a frustrating one. I expect this to be much closer than the soft twats from Manchester.
Italians are well known as being total fucking fannies. Cars with four reverse gears etc. We won the final in their own stadium. Stop worrying about them, they're shite.
Spot on. Anyone thinking the Roma team will be overawed by the Anfield Roar is mistaken and our visit to Stadio Olimpico will show why. Roma are on a high and will need a bloody good hiding to dent their belief. I worry that we'll need at least a 3-0 victory tonight to beat them over 2 legs. We'll do extremely well to keep a clean sheet tonight. Expecting Mourinho-esque defending and long balls to bypass our midfield.
I hated every minute of the 2 games against City (until 1-1 in the 2nd leg), it was pure agony. I remember the semi final against Chelsea in 2005, I was 42 and it was the first time I actually worried about my health during a game. When that bastard ref gave 6 additional minutes I could hardly catch my breath and when Gudjohnsen flashed THAT ball across our 6 yard box at the very end my legs went weak and I was sweating, panting, dizzy etc.
I'm 55 now, so here's my question.........@Portly @Judge Jules @Vlads Quiff etc i.e. those of my age or older...............how do you deal with the stress of these games?
