Not the greatest performance out there. Defence is still bollocks, and if Lambert has to play alone up top for any prolonged period of time next season we're right in the shit.

Mignolet couldn't have done anything with the goals.
We're going to struggle and see lots of performances like that this season (where we play okay, control the game, but miss chances and lack real presence up top while the opposition punish us) if we don't sign a top attacking player.

That sorta confirmed what we all knew, there's not a lot of depth up front. After Sturridge we don't have another player of that level like we did last season.
Maybe Rickie won't always be that poor, maybe we keep Borini but it's a real sickener missing out on Remy, we need someone at least as good as him to come in.

I think we need a player like him AND a top quality attacker. We're seriously short up front.
I agree. They were non-existent in the first half, as we controlled the game. The only way they got themselves back into it was when they started playing shite long-ball football.
