So the front 3 have been fantastic in protecting the midfield - some brilliant tackles from Bobby and Mane.
THe middle 3 have actually really played well - intelligent pressing, read the game well and a fucking peach of a goal from Ox (sorry Sean).
The defense has been pretty solid - one mistake from Gomez, which he was punished for (had we had Ming or a better goalie, it would have been fine).
Overall, we're giving them possession ... and its worked. They've not had any real chance & we have had a few.

He was well worse than Gomez tbh.

I'm sure people expect players to come into the team fully formed & experienced even at a very young age. Young defenders will always take a season or two at the highest level to learn their trade.

Regarding their goal, I believe Matip could have done better as well. Ultimately, it's on Gomez and Karius.
Karius didn't really commit to saving it, scared. Mignolet would have saved it.

I think we needed to go in 1-0. I see us getting shagged out at about 70 mins, and conceding. Hopefully we get get another one, it's certainly there if Firmino and others are a little sharper. Subs will be critical.
