rafa should have been braver there and subbed one of the defenders who were spectators for the entire match. when teams park the bus the center backs ability on the ball is badly exposed.

Yep. I can imagine, Ferdinand, Vermalen or indeed Agger (had he been there) taking the ball forward into midfield had they been given so much time on the ball as our CBs were given today. Their lack of techical ability in helping make that extra man is a (small) part in a big problem.
