Lucas is an easy scapegoat isn't he? when it goes pear shaped blame him, he was no worse than the rest of them today.
Lucas isn't being made a scapegoat, no ones laying the blame for the defeat on him. He's the one to be dropped to accommodate Sturridge.
Unless Sturridge's fitness levels improve drastically, he doesn't deserve to play.
Not saying Lucas has to stay in, just that if you're going to replace him then make sure it's for someone who is fit to play.
I'd haver brought Alberto on yesterday ahead of Sturridge.
I'm assuming Sturridge will be fit with 8 days to go before Palace. But yeah, don't play him if he's not fully fit.
Studge shouldn't be anywhere near the first 11 based on his last few appearances.

I'd start Moses in this game for Lucas. We will need men that can beat their man.

Sturridge, Enrique, Gerrard and Allen all missed December, so that's rubbish.

Moyes can beat a man and has good close control (both things Lucas seems to have lost in the position he's been asked to play) yes I'd play Moses ahead of an injured studge/ineffective Lucas/rubbish Aspas
