I would take David who has a consistent record... and if he is on a free in the summer all the better. Him and Marmoush would get us strength on the RW and a proper CF, that's supposing Salah leaves

I'd love to have a Canadian in our first team but don't think David is of sufficient quality for us. Tbf I don't see him in league play but for internationals he's a bit too hot and cold for me and has never seemed like he is a top level striker.

Certainly can. Very Xabi-like. Gravy has more power and speed, but Zubimendi has wonderful vision. But, if we are going to add another holding midfielder, I would prefer one that is more physical and has some bite.

On current form, he replaces Macca, not Gravvy. Which could actually work - remember the United game when Gravenberch was allowed to roam further forward as a right-sided #8 and Macca held the DM position; that could be the blueprint for coexisting with someone like Zubimendi.

That said, Real Madrid are desperately looking for a Kroos replacement in January; it might make perfect sense for him to move to a big club closer to home.
