You need to look at the South London as a whole and what they have produced over the years, not just last few years. Chelsea Academy as a whole is like franchise model, I think at some of the younger ages there is over 2000 players or so I hear from far reaching South and Home Counties.
Have a look at the TNT Sports documentary on the Palace Academy, it's got some serious talent in areas where typically England have lacked previously in Attacking areas. Really impressive system especially with some some really competitive clubs in that South West London catchment area such as Chelsea, QPR and Fulham as opposed to other areas of England.
If we shoot him out on that wing, he might just stick.

Issue is, our scouts say this will be a good player for our team in 2 years or so.
The mid table teams say this will be a good player for us immediately.
You know what would help? Multi club pyramid.
If they think x player will be good for us in 2 years, for me that shouldn't prevent anything. No reason we couldn't have signed Eze, Wharton or whoever if we thought they had the qualities and then send them on loan, kind of like what we did with Mamadish but on a lower scale..It took Wharton 6 months in the Prem for everyone to cream their pants over him, whether they'd have thought the same if we were the ones that signed him for 18m and was only on loan at Palace playing the way he did is another thing.
We've been following him for a year or so.
I’ve seen him play three times live (my mate has a Brentford season ticket)…and he’s looked below top class every time…not for me…
Kerkev looks like he has real potential…like an Alberto Moreno regen upgrade.
