Liverpool related transfer speculation

If i was Richard, i'll do everything possible to sign Olmo, esp. now that Barca is really struggling to register him, even if they sell their VIP seats too.

I dont care if his injury record isn't that good. We'll fix him up proper.

He's the only name that excites me and he was the only one who stood out for me in the WC. I'm never wrong with these things !

Just get him !!

No transfer fee as well ! It's a no brainer.

And play him where?

We'll play 4-2-4.

or 1-10.

Who bloody cares.

You think too much. Force Ipswich to pay that 37M for Doak if necessary. Flog the donkey to AC too.

Olmo is all i want. He's the real deal.

Why anyone would sign at Barca is a mystery to me. And why he wouldn't exercise his get out clause and get a big signing on fee somewhere else is also beyond me. If he doesn't do that by the end of the month he's an idiot and his agent should be fired.

If you were Richard Hughes you'd be sat at home doing fuck all, scrolling under-sized cardigans to buy.

I would rather buy someone proven for that position.
Would he get enough playing time at ours?
yes

You do know "monitor", "observing" and "interested in" is nothing more than window shopping? There is absolutely no intent by it.
We will buy no one, and we may face fatigue and injury by the season end. I hope i am wrong.
The window before we spent £100m net £70m more than we could afford, and now we are paying it back.

Yeah but I enjoy the foreplay and excitement.

Whats the point of signing him then, when that could be provided by a young player on less wages who might have the kegs to actually play for us and offer us a longer term option.

There’s a reason that 99% of top clubs don’t sign 36 year old CBs to pad out their squad. You might find a couple of old CBs still playing for a top clubs, but they’d likely have been amongst the top players in that position in their prime - even then, you could count them on one hand.
Because of his experience both when he is needed and in helping develop younger players coming through in training. Clubs are getting caught out this season with injuries and fixtures congestion and it’s only getting worse. I can see the positives in signing experience vs throwing in academy kids during burnout / injury crisis.
