seems now we're being linked with Tier 1 Transfers (above £20m)

Liverpool look to sign up £20 million rated superstar
There has been some reports which have claimed Liverpool are lining up a £20million bid for Serbian superstar Lazar Markovic, according to the Daily Mirror website.
Brendan Rodgers wants to land the Benfica wide man in a massive deal as he prepares for the Champions League football next season.
He knows he must go out and improve his squad this summer, as next season could herald a whole load of silverware for the club.
And Markovic, who is rated very highly in the game, has been so impressive this season that the Kop boss is ready to splash out the £20 million the Portuguese giants want
Markovic has been on the Kop radar since he was a kid, but Rodgers faces a battle to land the 20-year-old who has been a big hit at Benfica since joining from Partizan Belgrade.
Chelsea have been on Markovic’s trail for years and rumours are rife in Serbia that they have already set up a move.
But Liverpool think he is the ideal type of player for them as they plan ahead for next season.

Liverpool are considering making an offer for Atletico Madrid playmaker Koke.
Koke has been the breakthrough star of the season for Atletico, providing vital assists and contributing with big goals in key games.
He is tipped for the very top of the game and Liverpool have been hoping they can get a deal done for the last few windows now.
However, he has stated that he is happy at the Spaniards and Liverpool will have to offer something special to get a deal done.
But that has not stopped Brendan Rodgers showing an interest and according to the SportsDirectNews website Liverpool feel confident they can get him signed up

which one of them is best ? if money was no option and they all wanted to join .

I hope we learnt spurs lesson from last summer

100m on 'European superstars ' doesn't always work out

Vidal is a class player.

An absolute terrier in midfield and scores quite a few goals too.

Would be a great signing but I highly doubt it would happened ... 1% on the Ryan Scale.

I can see Vidal moving to Real Madrid or something. He strikes me as being far too arrogant to come to a team like us who despite looking good this season are still a bit of a work in progress. Not necessarily a bad thing but even if we did have the money to buy him, which we pretty much don't, we probably wouldn't get him.

I can't see us spending 40m on a player even if we could afford them. Under 30m yes but 40m just seems OTT for us no matter who it is.

Nobody dare mention Andy Carroll.

But now I can see where you copied and pasted from. This could be essential with transfer season coming up. I feel you may be starting a thread or two.

Yeah. What's your point?

"Don't buy overpriced foreign imports"?

Great. I'm glad Spurs went through the pain so we didn't have to otherwise Rodgers might have thought just that to himself - "I really need to waste me a load of money on some Euro trash".

Top quality targets but lets see who we get. Those figures I'm afraid are beyond us unless we plan on selling Suarez. With all the additional sponsorship money, John Henry may just stump up the dosh and surprise us. Building the stadium may hamper us in the market.

Lazar Markovic would be just about affordable. Koke and Vidal will elevate us into the stratosphere. We'll be unstoppable with that kind of quality.

Has 6 goals too (playing a part in 27% of A.Madrid's league goals).

Back in Mar: "Koke is the first Atletico player to have provided 11 assists in a single La Liga season since Ariel Ibagaza in the 2003/04."

Perhaps we should have a look at that Suso lad from Almeria.
Seven assists in a team that struggles to score isn't too shabby

This is the type of player signing we will be trying to make i reckon, don't see why 35 odd million is beyond us, Henry has shown in the past that he will make big money available to sign 1 player.

The club will know this summer is a big opportunity to aim high and continue to push on, looking at the calibre of player we were chasing last summer im confident for this summer.
