LFC just got £20 mill richer

Disappointed at the price. It should have been £20m straight, none of this bonus shit. Hopefully this £20m is on top of the loan fee.

And some of it will go to Burnley, I read somewhere that the amount to Burnley was 2.3 million

Good money for a non goal scoring striker. He a couple of chances in the first team and just didn't look like he was ready for this level, unlike origi.

£20m seems OK, I suppose.

He's 26 now, and despite being at Liverpool for three seasons he's only made about 15 league appearances, so it's unfair to label him as "non-scoring" - he's hardly played at all.

He's actually only had one proper season in the Premier league (for Burnley) and scored 11 goals - that's only one less than the likes of Lukaku, Firmino and Son managed last season - so there's some hope for Southampton there that he could do well enough if he stays fit.

Good deal for him and us. Edwards once again showing how good he is and getting 20 mill for a player whose knees are made of buiscuits and toothpicks.

Ings is a good lad, so good luck to him. Hope he scores loads of goals against the other teams in the league.

Edwards is good but hes not as good as Marcus Rashfords agent that secured Rashy 200k a week basic wage before bonus!😀 Edwards has some way to go it seems.

With Man Utd offering their best players really contracts could see them coming close to Take Madrid and Barcelona

Very surprised ManU are ahead of City. I know united spend like 300k a week on sanchez but the number of top players at City would have thought they would be higher.

City pay half their wages offshore or via other companies they own via blag sponsorships, so that's not a true figure

Damn that is some top FFP dodging tactics! City are blatantly cheating financially. Im so glad we won the CL as it is now, because I fear for future of football, FFP is struggling as it is and if the oil-rich owners turn the screws then we are likely to have a European Super League (ESL) very soon and in turn the PSG and Man City owners will lobby hard to scrap any form of FFP for good. Meaning oil-rich PSG and City will jockey to win every ESL until the end of the world.

Ufea is in a tricky situation, if they go after City and PSG hard now then they risk fanning a flame, PSG and City will use their recourses to go the extra mile and try to highlight the financial advantages of a breakaway league to the other euro teams. A breakaway euro league will break Ufea who will become as irrelevant and weak as the English F.A. is now.

Try 500k for Sanchez.

I really liked the idea of Danny in our team but his injuries meant he never got a chance to hit top gear and Klopp rightly just didn't see it. Have to admire Klopp's ruthlessness and ability to make a decision on players - similar to Ibe & Solanke. If you just can't see it, get rid rather than spend more years waiting to see if they improve drastically enough.

Good for Danny Ings to get another chance to get regular games at the top level and good for us to get a decent fee.
