We could have cleared it twice before his fuck up, and he could have hit it long as well. The back pass to him was pretty bad, but in the end he misjudged the situation and fucked up.
He knows he shouldnt do that again, but as Klopp said we have to be smarter in those situations and decide when we can play it back to him and not.

Good thing is it happened in a match we won. He learns, the team learns and can move on.

When you describe it like the way you have and it really did actually happen like that - it kinda makes the players look like cunts !!! - 'you want the ball then ? - come on then get it ..." - passing it back, back again, back to the goalie - goalie starts showboating ... oh bollox they have scored. We can laugh at it coz we won the game - but it was a comedy of passing errors.

Passing around at the back needs to be incredibly disciplined, alert and FAST. As soon as you've gone through the basic sequence, you need to go forward or else go back to the keeper for a long kick, because otherwise the movement up front starts to fall apart and no one at the back quite knows what's happening any more. That's when it becomes faffing around at the back. And it happens far too frequently. That final pass back to the keeper is basically a 'I give up, you deal with it' gesture. Allison is a very good keeper to try that with, but it's still a foolish option to try.
