Horrible second half. I don't know Gini even touched the ball second half. Did we have a shot on target second half?
Lucky win. But hey it is 3 points. I rejoice at that. Next.

I don't think it was lucky. Even at less than our best, away to a good side who will cause everybody problems this season, we were just about worth the win IMO.

Awful performance, stupid by Alisson but we all seen it coming, but we managed to somehow get the 3 points. It wasn’t game management, Leicester didn’t have enough to score, we didn’t control the play or the pace of the game and were just lucky.

Gomez MOTM.

After Beach balls, clangers in finals and fucking retards in goal, I’m hoping now that Alisson has learnt his lesson not to try a Cruyff turn on his fucking goal line, in a game where it’s not cost us the points.

International break, let’s get some more fitness and gel more and hopefully upwards, can’t complain about 4 in 4.

Someone needs to sit Allison down and remind him why he isn't an outfield player

Its pretty clear!!

It's an interesting one.

We don't want him to stop playing out.

But he's got away with quite a few close calls already in ALL the games he's played for us (friendlies included). I sense teams have figured him out a bit already, in that he REALLY doesn't like booting the ball away.

Perhaps after all the gushing praise he got last week, he got a bit arrogant. Or perhaps, it was an attempt to keep up his passing stats above 90%.

He'll learn from this though. Thankfully for us, it wasn't in a title deciding game.

We knew he would make silly mistakes, but we won. 4 straight wins in a row, best start since 1990.

This. Games like today's are exactly the ones in which we almost knew we'd drop points previously. All title winners have dodgy games along the way. What counts is getting the points anyway, which - so far - we are doing.

I was never really worried about them scoring after the howler, except from set pieces.

"We didn't control the ball, but we controlled the space." (Brendan 14).

They didn't really get into the areas we didn't want them to get into. VVD and Gomez were rock solid with everything that came their way too.

I'm glad Allison's inevitable fuck up didn't cost us 2 points and he cuts the shit out pronto...Other than thinking hes fucking Ronaldinho, he looks boss.

Didnt he go the entirety of last season without directly costing Roma a goal? Probably he's got a little over confident because of that, plus last week's 'chip'. He needs to have a fucking word with himself. And learn how to properly tune a guitar while he's at it.

Hes been on the beak and blozzers all week you can hardly blame him the odd brainwobble

more so than he does

If Karius or Mignolet had fucked up like that, they would have been nervous wrecks for weeks afterwards and have required psychological counselling.

I sense that Alisson has a massive ego, so it won't have the slightest effect on him.

Yes, 0 errors leading to a goal. Bollocks.

it was his ego that led to the mistake, so him not being affected by it isn't necessarily positive

Yeah we hung on by the skin of our teeth, lucky in the sense they were poor in attacking and creating chance. We could not keep the ball nor control the game at all, especially the second half.

He kicked a couple long after the howler so hopefully he had already

Alisson has bigger balls than Karius or Ming. So any comparison with Karius after only a few matches is simply retarded. He gets to use his get out of jail card this time. Royal pardon. Cos who cares really ? I don't. Best defence in the league so far. And it's inevitable he'll make a mistake like all normal humans do. Better now than in the big matches later.

Plus he's also man enough to admit his mistake and move on. So I'm also moving on.

Said it before, but he seems to be the type to get over any mistakes, like Reina.
He’s been absolutely solid in goal, whether it’s shot stopping, coming out sweeper style or claiming crosses.
We all knew he was going to get caught out at some point, though it was certainly earlier than I thought. I’m taking that as a positive.

If you think of great goalkeepers of the past, they have all had massive, bulging egos. The odd blunder couldn't make the slightest dent in their ego. Thus they went on to give more and more great performances.

The likes of Mignolet and Karius clearly had feelings of insecurity, so that despite their talent, they could never become great keepers.

There's a difference between making a mistake and taking completely unneccessary risks. The first is forgiveable, but the second is what Alisson did.

He fucked up, took the blame for it and Klopp will be in his ear.
He’s been boss so far and we’ve conceded 1 goal. One.

Move on.

I agree, which is why the fact that we won a difficult away game when we were far off our best at least goes some way to alleviate the damage. Forwards will now go out of their way to track him down now and he must now realize that in the EPL you don’t have that kind of time gifted to you. We fannyed around too much at the back sat too deep and once again were very sloppy with our passing Alisson fucked up and we still won. It was unforgivable but pointing the finger at him from the stands will not help, I hope that Klopp tears a few strips of him behind the scenes and he learns his lesson.

Mig was shit for 5 fucking years and Karius cost us a champs league final... I’m not ready to jump on Alissons back for a dizzy piece of play. He will sort it out.

Oh and while we are at it.... three more points...

Heh. Karius would disagree with you having been bombed out the club. Keepers that make genuine mistakes (ie shit keepers) tend to not be forgiven.

Yep let's lynch him.

Let's go stand behind the goalpost in next games and give him he'll...that'll teach him.
