I know that Im perceived to be a hater of English players, but Maguire is not a top class defender. He's good, but he's not anywhere near the likes of Van Dijk, Rio etc.
He's slow and doesn't have the technique or passing rage to be worth the money Leicester were asking for him.

People will talk about how bad we played, and we weren't at the top of our game, but just like Palace away, thats another very difficult game navigated, we played badly because Leicester made us look bad. This international break is well timed now, a couple of weeks to look over those games and improve, and hopefully for Firmino and Salah to get a bit more form and fitness into their legs with their national teams.

He is pure class. He covered TAA expertly time after time coming across and shutting down Albrighton and whoever else and that block on maddisons effort likely ensured we kept all three points
