Poor, poor game. Not very fluid, very lackluster up front but a win is a win.

And another clean sheet for Ming.

Onwards and upwards.

Only watched from 47 minutes on (i.e. missed 1st half and goal).

A lot of poor decisions in the attacking half - it's not clicking at all.

Defense was solid - despite a few scares.

I still am scared every time we concede a corner, though Mign handled the last cross very well.

Let's smash West Ham 1-0 too! 🙂

Benteke was selected as Man of the Match by Niall Quinn. Apart from his goal, he didn't seem to know what his was supposed to be doing most of the time. And he needs to do better in those one-on-one situations. A quality striker needs to have the guile to avoid shooting straight at the advancing keeper!

Bentake will be never be good enough to lead the line for us long term but a decent squad option to have.

An expensive option at that.

Won ugly. Didn't play well but the 3 points was important. If we don't improve though we'll lose more of them type of games than we'll win.

I didnt see the game....just glad we avoided a potential banana skin.

Also happy the Klopp has firmly refused to give Lucas a look in no matter how dire the injury situation is. Its about time a manager did that for us. I couldnt take any manager who thought Lucas was first team material seriously.

The gap between 4th and 5th now stands at 4 points....im starting to see that apart from Leicester the other three clubs in there are unlikely to drop off the top 4. Leicester have a 9 point cushion over us. It may well be game over for top four...

That could have been and should have been 0-3/4 .

Some slack finishing and a good save kept it at just the one goal.

Benteke is an enigma but I think he will come good.Firmino is far more deserving of any criticism as he offers fuck all and has done for 90% of the season.

We were tripe but we still deserved to win, and if Sunderland had got a point it would have been a travesty. Its all well and good defending Benteke but any decent striker would have had a hatful in the last two games.

In defense of Firmino, he hit the post and could have had 2 assists today, if Benteke converted a clean 1 on 1 and if Ibe converted his chance. Also nice dummy for the goal (together with Lallana). Not the best game from him, but again he makes things happen.

It's OK on my Chrome, apologies if it's not displaying correctly on TT. Does it totally fuck up your screen?

Yep.... Took about a minute to scroll down past it! It's ok though rurik, you're a good egg. I'll check it out on a laptop tomorrow.

Think we startes positively. Kept the ball well. As the game went along we did to many sloppy passes loosing the ball or putting teammates under pressure. That is a bit frustrating to watch. ... but again the workload has been imense for some of the players. Can, Moreno, Clyne, Lallana and Coutinho has played a lot.

Good to finish the year with a couple of wins. Hopefully 2016 will see more intelligent players brought in and some of our injured players fitness improve. Klopps constant instructions from the sidelines seem to be having an effect.
