Does anyone think we are able to attract better players now he's in charge?
Even if we don't get into the CL this season I'm sure he could sell the fact that with their help we could get in it the next. More so than the last manager anyway.
What do you reckon?

Rodgers had a bit of sway with people that played for Swansea and Reading, and possibly teams that their former players moved to.

Klopp has that with Borussia Dortmund, a lot of their players have gone to Bayern and other big teams.

We have to have a better chance of getting a higher quality of player now, but they still won't be top class and top of their game. We'll be taking punts, just not a long a shot as it was with Rodgers.

I think Klopp can attract top players. But the most important thing is that we get the right type of players.
Thats been a big problem. We havent had a transfer strategy at all when it comes to the team and tactics.

Klopp can probably attract just about anyone from the top teams that arent going for silly money or earn 200k + a week. We wont be getting those players unless we've got the wealth of City/Utd/PSG/Chelsea/Barca or Real.

I hope to see one cohesive strategy in terms of recruitment, and I'm excited to see who Klopp identifies and attracts to the club. I don't believe we'll instantly be able to attract a better class of player because, for me, the lack of Champions League football is still a bigger factor, but I do hope we can a higher success rate with our signings from identifying the correct positions which need strengthening. I just hope Klopp and the committee are on the same page in terms of signings and can continue in that vain.

Strangely I think Can will have a big impact on signing top young German talent too. Hes highly regarded in Germany and hes now part of the national team set up. Other young German players will look to see how he gets on with us, if Klopp can make him a star and hes regularly getting selected for Germany then they will be queueing up to play for Klopp. If hes shite and goes nowhere or gets booted back home it will probably make others think twice.

I dont think we would have got Torres if Alonso wasnt a success. Same with Firmino and Coutinho.
