I *know* it's only a pre-season friendly, but our defence is being torn apart by these cunts.

What has been very disappointing (but not surprising to most) has been our total lack of creativity from midfield in both the Graz match and this. Spearing & Lucas have to hold their hands up - these were their chances and against poor opposition (solid in Kaiserlautern's case) and they have shown zilch.

Just watched the last 10 minutes and we have been unable to hold on to the ball for more than 10 seconds.
What has been very disappointing (but not surprising to most) has been our total lack of creativity from midfield in both the Graz match and this. if lucas partners a defensive minded midfielder in the middle of the park, it's going to be a looooong season.
That was an awful match. The first 15 minutes we looked quite good, but after that it was all very disapointing.
No one could hold the ball up, we gave it away all the time and found it very hard to create anything.
Still, good run out for the U-18s, cause let's be honest, this match has nothing to do with our pre season.
Senior players, Lucas, Soto, Cavalieri, N'Gog and Jova. Pre season starts now imho.

I didn't expect much from the team. It was mainly our reserve team and youth team out there.
I see a lot of raw talent in the players but they need experience, it is so obvious. They are having trouble handling the pace and roughness of the game at that level.

Some of them will clearly never make it, and should be shown the door. But at the same time, there are a lot of potential very good players there.
Under similar circumstances we lost 1-5 against Mainz a couple of years ago.
My biggest worry is that some of our players will have 11 days of pre season under their belts.
