If he wins us the league I wonder if we'll change The ' Kop' to The Klopp.. Nar that would be crap

He usually likes to walk home after a defeat, to mull over the game..

Which explains why he's so upset at losing away games!

His name is a fucking onomatopoeia for all sorts of shit things in life. No good can come from this.

Ha, I can't believe you are wheeling these out Jono. Klopp got away with odd behaviour because he won titles at Dortmund. If he behaved like that with us coming 6th or 7th he'd be torn apart and told to focus on his job.

Gets offered a state of the art stadium to train his team ahead of a Massive Game.. He takes them the local park instead..

Cue, Why the fuck is he taking them to a f**king local park when he has a massive game coming up. (Red Ninja, 2016)

Indulgent bastard. Keep walking etc. (Red Ninja, 2016)

Here's what I posted a few back and I feel exactly the same.

I'd probably pick Klopp but like most on here know absolutely nothing about him bar the obvious. i.e he's won some trophies, people seem to like him, he's a bit of a character and Dortmund played excellent football for a while. That is enough to get his name down on the sheet but I haven't seen anyone give us a detailed post as to why they want him or why Klopp is the right man for the job. It's easy post his name and move on. He isn't Brendan Rodger for a start. I was always willing to 'trade up' if Klopp was available but I'd love if someone delved into it further for us. Perhaps @rurikbird could break it down and inform us whether Klopp is in fact the right man for us.

I'm sure Klopp is a breath of fresh air when you are winning. We can all picture the animated manager on the sidelines of his former club donned in his Dortmund costume. Don't forget the monster truck hat and smug grin to the reporters. We will lap this shit up right away and continue to fawn over it as long as we are getting results. Rodgers' himself endeared himself to the fans, he said the right things about the history of the club, he brought back the red nets, he adopted a Shankly esque celebration, hell he even got his own song from the Kop.

Klopp like all managers will have to be careful. Their traits and mannerisms will become excruciating when/if the results go sour. Now that is me just talking about him as a man. That is what we see on the outside. That is why I'm hoping someone can analyse his formations and tactics for us. Another general consensus is that Klopp can unearth quality players for peanuts. Kagawa, Lewandoski, etc. However he will be operating under a different budget here. Will this mean he will be in the market for more expensive players and we'll miss out on his ability to pick up relatively unknown players? Also, what is he like to build a defense? He claims to play 'heavy metal' football. Will this suit the premier league?

I'm not being negative on Klopp here btw, apologies if it reads that way. He has won trophies and is semi available. I wanted Klopp in the summer. I'm just hoping he's the right man for us because I've actually got no clue to be honest. I doubt many on here do bar the obvious superficial reasons and his supposed affinity to work with a club like ours.

Klopp is the favourite and leading contender to replace Brendan Rodgers at Anfield after the Northern Irishman was sacked following Sunday’s 1-1- draw with Everton on Sunday.

And Klopp, the former Borussia Dortmund manager, has been seeking advice from former Liverpool midfielder Didi Hamann ahead of a potential move to Merseyside.

We understand that Hamann, who is currently in Germany, has spoke to Klopp in recent weeks and could even be offered a role on the 48-year-old’s backroom staff should he be confirmed as the new manager.

Hamann, who completed his UEFA Pro Licence coaching qualification in 2013, has been providing advice to Klopp and recommending the move to Liverpool.

Hamann, who played for the Reds from 1999 to 2006 – winning every trophy except the title during his seven year stay – is unlikely to accept an official role should he be offered one.

Klopp will likely be keen appoint a former player and Hamann, along with former forward Robbie Fowler are two that would be in the running. Fowler had put himself forward for the first-team coach role that Gary McAllister eventually was appointed to in the summer.

We understand that McAllister and assistant manager Sean O’Driscoll will definitely be leaving the club along with Rodgers.

Former defender Jamie Carragher has backed Klopp to get the job, saying on Sunday: “If it was me I would go for Klopp ahead of Ancelotti. I think he’s got more to prove. Ancelotti is a great manager of course but he’s gone to clubs where you would expect to win trophies.”

I doubt Klopp will walk home from Anfield after he's seen the area up close.

He's not gonna want to run through dog shite to train in Stanley Park either.

There'll be questions about whatever manager joins us Dave. It will be who it will be. The sensible thing to do for our fans would be to get behind him and back him although the likely thing that will happen will be a massive dirge of over analysis, assumption and critique because, you know, people like to come across as all knowing and "told you so". The main thing any new manager needs to do is tell FSG to fuck right off if they suggest taking part in some cringeworthy "Being Liverpool" bollocks. Rodgers was on a hiding to nothing immediately once that shite was broadcast
