John Henry says Kenny Dalglish is not good enough for Liverpool FC

John Henry says Kenny Dalglish is not good enough for Liverpool FC
There is a lot of hype around him and from the little bit I have seen I reckon he is going to be a star.Talk of him going to scum for cash plus Anderson + one of the De silva twins.
Never seen him play but heard he is the new Ronaldo/Nani?
I was rather referring to the fact that it was a ranty mess, and as clear a case of verbal diarrhea as I've seen for a while. If I wanted to trawl the forum picking holes in people's English then I would probably start with the English people.
f the next manager doesnt better 8th and a carling cup in his first season im calling for his head and chanting "dalglish" at the match till i puke.
lets have some consistency here eh mr henry.
if kenny dont get the second season next man shouldnt either. c**t
KENNY thank you very much for all your help and things I learned from you during 1 year and a half! A big hug and good luck!!
We were lucky to win the Carling Cup.Hahahaha
Shit argument.
We took our chances and Cardiff didn't that's why it's a shit argument. Why is it? We were lucky because we played shite in the final.
Hang on what argument?
Kenny bought them, so in a way the damage that was done was self-inflicted.I'm fucking gobsmacked that the most prominent players in getting Kenny the sack have been promoted to the England squad for the Euros. They should be discarded from international football, not encouraged to play shite again next season ffs.

Very true, but I'm not that against Carroll being in the national team. Downing is the one who bothers me. At least Hendo and Carroll managed to score a few.Yeah I agree, I just find it difficult to stomach that they were rewarded for their poor form though and a man losing his job.

I can't disagree with that.Even Gerrard and Johnson...Gerrard started 12 league games and from what I can remember he was pretty sub-standard for the majority of the time. That was after he declared himself fitter than he's been for ages. 12 games?!....yet he can swan off to captain England at the Euros. We paid huge money for Johnson, and I know it's not his fault that we did, but when you do you expect the player to be playing like a world class player. He plays for us like a very good 8m player.
we were extremely lucky to win the carling cup
I can't disagree with that.
Exactly right. Not as lucky as we were to win the CL.
I loved the passion of Insigs post; I worry that I won't feel that way about Liverpool again for a while. That said I think it's as much of a knee jerk response as you'll find here after any given match. Passion is what brings supporters to the game each week but it's pragmatism that ensures there is even a game to attend. FSG are taking the pragmatic approach which, I believe, will ensure there's a club to passionately support. It's not a marriage made in heaven - pragmatism and passion. I don't think there's really any such thing. Sometimes you have to compromise for the good of the marriage because you know without it all is lost. Occasionally that compromise is going to hurt and, on rare occasions, it's going to hurt deeply. Kenny is unfortunately feeling that hurt deeply right now as is every true fan of the club. But to turn on FSG - for passion to attack pragmatism - is self destructive. When you're hurt you want to find someone to blame but, as tempting as it is, FSG are the wrong target.
I hope FSG learn from this experience; I still believe it was the absolute wrong decision - that they were much too hasty in the decision and they didn't demonstrate the level of respect most of us want to see shown to the king. But the reality is we didn't go looking for owners who could demonstrate respect or follow the fans demands; we needed owners with a cool head, the business acumen to correct a poor situation. Right now the day belongs to pragmatism and, at some level, as difficult as it is, we need to trust in that so that passion can once again have its day.
I don't know why ........ the part about Johnson is rubbish. He's put in some terrific performances and could have done with a fair bit more support from his team mates.
Jamie Carragher has been mentioned a lot today and he has been giving his thoughts on the departure of Kenny Dalglish as Liverpool boss: "I spoke to him just before he was getting on his flight and asked: 'is it Kenny now or gaffer?'. He said 'it is Kenny now' I am sorry to see him go, but that is football. It is a sad day for him, but we respect the owners decision and we have to look forward now. I will be fully committed to whoever the manager is."
So basically, a season where we stagnate or struggle remotely will result in the manager being fired ... There we signs of progress in the season, and while it WAS disappointing, we won a cup and should have won two. That is progress - albeit minimal. I just hope Henry gets the next selection right, or we fucked. And I think you can see that too.
Tell me, what was your position on the manager at the end of the 2009/10 season?
We needed pens to beat them, so how can you say cardiff didn't take their chances? The fact it got to pens was a shambles. We took our chances and Cardiff didn't that's why it's a shit argument.
Some people were slated for saying that Liverpool were unlucky in certain matches this season with regards hitting the post, ref calls etc etc.
Amazing how the unlucky/lucky argument is used when it suits someones agenda.
Beating a Chelsea team in Stamford Bridge and beating a 300 million pound squad over 2 legs seems to be easily forgot by some too.
Not as lucky as we were to win the CL.

John Henry is correct. Unfortunately.
