John Henry... Taste the words. Kenny Dalglish is not good enough for Liverpool FC according to John Henry. Kenny Dalglish who first made his mark when Kevin Keegan dropped us for Reeperbahn. We didn't even notice he was gone and won everything that was worth winning and more so before the Heysel tragedy left us all in limbo. Already King then he took the hot seat and led us to the famous double in his first season. I can promise you all that if we hadn't been banned from Europe we would have been breathing Real Madrid down the neck in number of CL trophies by now. The shame of England became the pride of England under King, and we played the best football any PL team has ever played under him. Forget City this year.... Liverpool under Dalglish was better. He was barely 40 when he carried the club, the city and the Kingdom in his arms after Hillsbouruogh. He needed a brake, and has never been welcomed back for some strange reason, until we were crippled under Roy Hodgson. The he came back in, filled up a half empty Anfiled and won us our first trophy for 6 years, taking us to another final.
This man is not good enough for Liverpool FC according to John Who? How the hell can Jehn Henry decide that he is not good enough?? Apparently because it is his club... And when I concluded that is the only reason, I also understood that he is right. It is his club... it is not mine our your or ours anymore. It is his club. He expect me to support his club. I am not sure anymore... Support is passionate, and my passion is not for sale... I couldn't sell it if I wanted. It lays much deeper... But at least he made me realize it in a cruel way. Sometimes you need a wake up call.
