The Suarez thread is going around in circles. He's a bellend, we shouldn't sell him and he's getting a lengthy ban. Job done.

So now that our top scorer is of the team for the rest of the season how would you like us to line-up for the remaining games?

One player who had everyone excited at the Dublin drinkies was Coutinho. Ok so he was largely ineffectual against Chelsea but you cant be a superstar all the time.

He's made the left wing role his own recently but with Suarez out I think he could do a job through the middle, behind Sturridge. The only thing is who do you play on the wings instead?

Suso, Assaidi et al haven't convinced thus far (out wide) but maybe a run in the team could be fruitful. I think Henderson could do a Job on the right and put Super Stu back on the left as an option.

Borini is back in training.. so we have a bench option at least..

I had forgotten that Borini was coming back. I know he hasn't showed much but I still have high hopes for him.

I just think the little lad would really excel through the middle. It might give us a glimpse of life after Suarez and of course, if we don't sign Eriksen 😉

There's always a chance for someone like him to 'do a Boersma'. When Keegan got his long ban, Boersma came in and played like some kind of superstar. (Of course, once Keegan came back he lost his way again and slumped back into mediocrity, but it will be interesting to see Coutinho in a more central attacking position.)

Yes but we only have to wait three years for him to be ace again.

Seriously though I get what your saying. I'd probably have Hendo back there with Gerrard too. It would leave room for the other fringe players to show what they're made of.
