[article]M Fellaini Thumb/Wrist Injury no return date[/article]
That's what happens when you try a reach around on Moyes when he is jumping up & down on the Old Trafford bench
[article=http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2448243/Marouane-Fellaini-injury-Manchester-United-fans-backlash-club-announce-seven-week-absence.html]Manchester United midfielder Marouane
Fellani could face surgery to solve a wrist injury and could be out until December.
The £27.5million summer signing missed Saturday's 2-1 Barclays Premier League victory over Sunderland and visited a specialist in Manchester before being assessed by medics in Belgium.
He will miss his national side's forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Croatia and Wales, and up to two months of United matches in the league, Capital One Cup and Champions League.
But when
the official Manchester United Facebook page posted the news, the reaction was hardly supportive for the Belgian.
The post read: 'On Saturday, news emerged of an injury to Marouane Fellaini that could keep the striker out for at least a few weeks... Join us in wishing Fellaini a swift recovery...'
However, some of the comments left underneath the post were far from positive and it didn't all relate to him erroneously being called a striker.
One said it was 'good news', one was 'actually happy he is out' and another said it was the 'best thing that could of [sic] happened.'
Others went further, with one calling him the 'worst signing in all of Europe this summer' and another opining that 'we look better without him.'
Manager David Moyes admitted at the time the wrist ligament damage 'doesn't look good'.
'He's going to see a specialist,' said Moyes. 'It doesn't sound too good but we'll wait and find out on Monday.'
Fellaini may need to wear a special wrist brace when he eventually returns to action.[/article]
