I guess it would be to balance six straight home losses against two full seasons of sheer brilliance and realise which tips the scales. You're a bright lad, do the math.
Not every team is in the same position. Some teams don't have much of an atmosphere. Others produce 25% possession and their support isn't there to complain that they are paying good money to watch a training session.
I don't think it's the reason that we haven't done well, but it's one of many confounding ones. It benefited some teams and hurt others. Along with the dumb frequency of games its inarguable that it changed the state of play.

If the club are going to be as "smart" with contract renegotiations as they have been with recent transfer activities then I fear some players will be tempted by the prospect of lucrative deals elsewhere
